WiiDual Kit Cables

  • There currently is no good "off the shelf" solution for VGA.
  • For YPbPr, you will need a standard Wii Component Cable.
  • If using a standard RGBS/Scart cable, it will need to be modified to work the WiiDual.  The Color channels need to be swapped and Composite Video needs to be removed from the console.  These are both simple procedures. Please look at this image for details on how a modified RGC cable should look: https://i.imgur.com/nwVKO9r.jpg

Retro-Access has a cable that requires no modifications.  It will also allow CSYNC over the DTerminal lines.  This will allow for Composite Video to remain intact.  This will be the recommended cable.

Does Wii Support HDMI?

The Wii HDMI adapter is only plugged into the Wii. Then you make an HDMI cable from the adapter to or in the respective terminal. Most devices such as screen, TV or projector have in most cases an HDMI port. Now, where should you buy the Wii HDMI? This is easily answered because on Retro Saga, you will find the product box and a direct link to the product where you can then order this directly at cost-effective prices!

Does The Wii Have Component Cables?

Yes, there is the new Wii component video cable that allows 480 progressive lines (480p) of progressive scan to be output and enhances the quality of the output image. To connect the Wii component video cable, your receiving device (TV, satellite receiver, monitor, etc.) must have a component video input.
